Typeone LLC runs this site to collect survey responses for advisory engagements with our clients. It is built so that responses cannot be traced back to the person who wrote them.
What we do not collect
- No name, email address, employee ID, or account of any kind.
- No login. Access is a shared code given to a whole group, not to an individual.
- No IP address is recorded. Requests are rate limited using a temporary, in-memory value that is never written to storage and is discarded within a minute.
- No cookies, no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
- No third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.
What we do collect
When you submit a survey, we store one record containing:
- Your answers.
- Which group code was used — for example support office or property. This is a group, never a person, and the code itself is not stored with your answers.
- When you started and finished, and a randomly generated record number.
There is no field in our database for anything that identifies you, so there is nothing to disclose, leak, or hand over later.
We also track basic metrics so we can see that the survey is working and being used. These cannot be tied to an individual.
What stays on your device
While you are answering, your progress is saved in your own browser so a reload or a lost signal does not cost you the whole survey. It never leaves your device until you press Submit, and it is cleared once you do. We also set a marker so the site can tell you if this device has already completed a survey. Clearing your browser data removes both.
Who sees your answers
Typeone reads individual responses in order to analyse them. What goes back to the client is patterns across the organisation, and we may quote what people wrote — never alongside anything identifying who wrote it. We do not report a finding for any group of fewer than five responses, because a small group plus a job title can identify a person even when a name is never attached.
Where the data is held
Responses are stored in a Supabase database in the United States, and the site is served by Vercel. Both process network traffic to deliver the page, which necessarily involves your IP address in transit, in the same way as visiting any website. Neither is given anything that identifies you, and we do not record that information ourselves.
How long we keep it
We do not set a deletion date, and we keep responses and counts for as long as they are useful to the work they were collected for. That is deliberate rather than an oversight: a response has no name, email address, account, or IP attached to it at any point, so there is no identifying record sitting there waiting to expire. Aggregate findings delivered to the client are the client’s to keep.
Your choices
Taking part is voluntary and you can close the page at any point before submitting. Because we hold nothing that links a response to you, we cannot find, change, or delete an individual response after it is submitted — including at your own request. That is the trade-off that makes the anonymity real, and it is worth knowing before you start.
